• Workplace violence can lead to severe physical and mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, and PTSD. The HSE offers guidance to help employers manage these risks and create safer work environments.

HSE Fines & Prosecutions

This month we look at several companies that faced significant fines for safety violations. A food manufacturer was fined for removing safety guards and disabling safety devices. A construction firm was penalized after a worker’s fatal fall from a scissor lift, which also injured another worker. Additionally, a manufacturing company was fined after an employee suffered severe injuries due to inadequate safety measures.
